Eduardo Netto de Almeida
After the sale of CESL Group to construction conglomerate SOMAGUE in 1996 and having obtained control of CESL ASIA in this process, he concentrated in the development of CESL ASIA and starting Touristic Real Estate development company in the Lisbon region.
CESL ASIA, is now a leading company in Macau, providing a wide range of services in the environmental area, design and project management and facilities management of several Macau infrastructures and key equipments.
In 1995 incorporated ORIZON Group and started to develop touristic and residential resorts in the portuguese silver coast. CampoReal resort, with a 18 holes championship golf course; 151 rooms WESTIN hotel and 372 residential units was the most relevant project, that sold all the residential units in the Portuguese, Irish and UK markets.
Since 1985 he has taken top executive roles as MD, CEO or President in CESL Group, CESL ASIA, HOTEL LAGOS, SA (listed in Portuguese stock exchange), AGS and ORIZON GROUP, usually during the phases of initial development and consolidation of those companies.
Beside his business activities, was always involved in several associations: is one of the founders and first President of AEPSA (portuguese association for the environmental sector); was Chapter Chair and founder, of the Portuguese Chapter of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and Chairman of the Portuguese Equestrian Federation.
Has a Civil Engineer Degree from IST – Lisbon and MS of Public Health Engineering from London Imperial College.

In 2009 Eduardo joined ORIZON, as CampoReal Sales and Marketing Manager, assuming the relaunch of sales, so as the implementation of a new marketing strategy.
Hard won management and negotiation skills, from banking, real estate and investment
As CampoReal started a restructuring process, Eduardo soon began to held additional responsibilities in the company, first assuming the supervision of the hotel maintenance team and, in a second phase, taking over the management of the resort condominium.
During this time, Eduardo was acting as the company representative among the property owners and potential buyers, which provided him with a large experience in property management.
The need to negotiate with suppliers, contractors during this stressed period enhanced his negotiation skills and expertise.
BA in Management and Business Administration, from Universidade Católica (Lisbon) and in 2008 did an intensive program, Essentials of Management, at Columbia Business School.

In his role as CEO of Quinta da Marinha Luis developed the leading residential and tourism resort in Lisbon including the world awardwinning Oitavos Dunes golf course and more recently a state of art hotel, The Oitavos.

As an entrepreneur Luis co-founded Columbia Hospitality International, a comprehensive hospitality consulting service for owners and developers of hotels, resorts, conference centers, marinas and golf courses in Europe, Africa and South America.
Luís has served in many civic events and organizations and is Chapter Chair of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO).
Luís earn is management and financial degree from Universidade Técnica de Lisboa (ISE) in 1989.

In 1989 assumed the financial supervision, as Area Controller, of all the Sheraton Hotels in the PRC.
Extensive international management experience developing businesses in Europe, Middle East and Asia
As Deputy CEO at Sheraton Orient Hotel Management, was instrumental in establishing the first international hotel management joint venture in the PRC with Bank of China and China International Travel Services.
Managed a boutique hotel property in Macau as General Manager of the Pousada de São Tiago.
In 1995 was appointed the Corporate Financial Controller of CCA, at the time the leading company of private clubs in Asia.
His expertise in finance, along with his career in the hotel business, gave him the skills and expertise in creating profit improvement and cost control programs.
In 1998 becomes CFO & Director of CESL ASIA (Macau), assuming the management of the finance and administration functions of the holding and its subsidiaries.
Registered as Certified Accountant in Portugal and Macau. Treasurer of the Rotary Club of Macau.
BA from Lisbon University of Economics (ISEG) and a mid-career MBA from University of Southern California with individual emphasis in Real Estate Finance and Development.
