NEWCYCLE is a Portuguese start-up founded by two engineers with the vision of realizing a new paradigm of approach to projects.
It aims to integrate technology and sustainability in the way all projects are approached, seeking to maximize synergies between Real Estate, Urbanism, and Renewable Energies. We believe that:
In this manner, we believe it is possible to respond to a traditional market, but that begins to gain insight from these new vectors and respond to the UN SDGs.
Within each of these 3 areas, we present below a short listing of the most common services that are the core of our company. However, this listing is not exhaustive. REAL ESTATE:
The real estate market has undergone profound changes in recent years, with increased professionalization of the players involved, digital transformation, and an active role in combating climate change.
In this new real estate cycle, it is necessary to make each project's economic, environmental, and even social aspects compatible, without neglecting the traditional drivers of quality, cost, and time.
At NEWCYCLE we want to meet these new challenges and therefore we provide a set of services associated with the real estate market:

URBANISM:
Nowadays, there is a set of Territorial Management Instruments that determine, on a large scale, the potential of all land.
Despite attempts to make these instruments simpler and faster, their level of complexity is still an obstacle to the success of these projects. Therefore,
specialized support is essential throughout these phases.
We understand that to respond to the current challenges of the real estate market, these must be considered in the most preliminary stages of the projects,
that is, still in the urban phase.
Increasingly the concepts of sustainability are also being imported into urbanism, with more flexible urban designs, proximity, and diversified uses, more
energy-efficient, more flexible mobility, and infrastructures that serve the population.

RENEWABLE ENERGY
Renewable Energy has gained increasing importance in Portugal's energy mix in recent years, especially in the wind and solar sectors.
The prospects for the coming years are for continuity in the growth of this type of energy. However, its implementation on the ground, e.g. solar parks, often ends up blocked in urban constraints that, as explained earlier, may become complex.
In addition, these energy solutions have become increasingly flexible and efficient, allowing integrated applications in real estate projects. This achieves significant reductions in operating costs, such as solar installations in the industry's selfconsumption roofs, solar neighborhoods, and complementary solutions to the nZEB challenge.
